As part of its ongoing international academic collaboration, the Department of Mechatronics Engineering (MTE) at Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) organized a vibrant and engaging friendly football match involving German delegates, faculty members, and students. The initiative aimed to foster cross-cultural interaction, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and promote a balanced academic environment through extracurricular engagement.

The event was entirely organized and managed by the students and faculty members of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, whose collective effort, leadership, and organizational skills ensured its successful execution. Their active involvement reflected the department’s commitment to student-driven initiatives and holistic academic development. The initiative was designed to foster international collaboration, promote cross-cultural interaction, and create a dynamic environment for informal academic engagement. The program was honored by the presence of distinguished delegates from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (FrUAS), Germany, including Prof. Dr. Faouzi Attallah and Ms. Andrea Beultmoeller, Kaiser Lab Instructor. Their participation significantly enhanced the academic value of the event, offering students and faculty an opportunity to engage with global perspectives in mechatronics education and research.

The match was graced by the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Dean of the Faculty of Science & Engineering, and Director of IQAC. The event was further enriched by the presence of academic leaders such as the Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Head of the English Department, and Head of ETE. The participation of Prof. Colonel (R) Dr. Med. Mohammed Nazmul Ahsan Mallick, Advisor (International Relations), along with the Professor Emeritus, added significant prestige and institutional importance to the occasion.

The match was characterized by enthusiasm, teamwork, and a strong spirit of sportsmanship. Participants from both local and international backgrounds engaged actively, creating an atmosphere of unity, mutual respect, and cultural exchange.

Beyond recreation, the event served as a meaningful platform for informal academic interaction and networking, reinforcing KYAU’s vision of integrating global collaboration with experiential learning.
