The Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (BCBT), Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU), organized an academic poster presentation session on 13 October 2026, featuring students of the 21st batch. Conducted as part of the course Scientific Communication and Presentation Skills, the event provided a platform for students to demonstrate their scientific knowledge, creativity, analytical thinking, and presentation abilities.

The initiative aimed to enhance students’ scientific communication skills by encouraging them to transform complex scientific concepts and research-based information into clear, concise, and visually engaging academic posters. The interactive session fostered critical thinking, confidence, creativity, and meaningful academic engagement, preparing students for future research and professional pursuits.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of outstanding student performances. Following the poster presentations, four top-performing students were selected and honored with certificates of achievement and commemorative crests in recognition of their exceptional scientific communication, creativity, and presentation skills. This recognition aimed to inspire academic excellence and encourage greater student participation in research-oriented activities.

The event reflected the BCBT Department’s continued commitment to outcome-based education (OBE), experiential learning, and research-oriented academic development, nurturing essential scientific communication and professional competencies among undergraduate students.
