Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) have celebrated a significant academic and research achievement by F M Javed Mehedi Shamrat, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of CSE.

His invention, titled “Artificial Neural Network Associated Advanced Vector Control of SRM Drive for Electric Vehicles,” has been officially published as a patent, marking an important contribution to the application of artificial intelligence in electric vehicle technology. The innovation highlights the growing role of AI-driven approaches in advancing modern electric vehicle systems.

In addition to this patent milestone, his research performance has received notable national recognition in the AD Scientific Index for Data Science in Bangladesh. He has been ranked 2nd in Bangladesh by H-Index and 2nd by i10-Index. He has also secured 4th position nationally in total citations, with more than 4,515 citations.

The achievements reflect his continued dedication to research, technological innovation, and academic excellence. His accomplishments are also regarded as an inspiration for faculty members and students at KYAU, encouraging greater engagement in impactful research and innovation.
