KYAU and Rabindra University Discuss Potential Areas of Collaboration

Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) welcomed a delegation from Rabindra University, Bangladesh, led by its Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Tahmina Akhter, during a visit to the KYAU campus on 6 August 2026. The visit focused on exploring potential areas of academic and institutional collaboration between the two universities.

During the visit, a bilateral discussion was held between the representatives of both universities to identify academic disciplines and areas of mutual interest where collaboration could be initiated. The discussion emphasized opportunities for knowledge exchange, academic cooperation, joint research, faculty and student engagement, and other mutually beneficial activities.

Particular attention was given to the possibility of jointly organizing academic seminars, workshops, conferences, and other scholarly events. The representatives discussed how the two institutions could utilize their respective academic expertise, facilities, and resources to facilitate such programs and create greater opportunities for faculty members, researchers, and students.

The discussion was attended by KYAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Ashraf Ali, Registrar Mr. Mizanur Rahman, Deans of different faculties, Controller of Examinations, and other senior officials. The presence of academic and administrative leaders from both institutions provided an important platform for identifying practical avenues for future collaboration.

Following the discussion, the visiting delegation was taken on a tour of the KYAU campus. They visited various academic and administrative facilities, as well as other key areas of the university, to gain an overview of its infrastructure and available facilities.

The visit concluded with a positive outlook toward strengthening institutional relations between Khwaja Yunus Ali University and Rabindra University. Both sides expressed their interest in exploring and advancing collaborative initiatives in areas of shared academic and institutional interest, paving the way for future cooperation.
